PVC Tarpaulin Covers are used to temporary protect the tops of bins, skips and any other open container. Unlike our elasticated polythene covers which are designed to be used only a couple of times, our polyvinyl chloride or PVC covers will last decades if handled properly.
These covers are exceptionally tough, UV resistant, tear resistant, weather proof and made from PU and PVC coated materials like found on truck curtains. Available with reinforced eyelets and shock cord, these covers can be easily fitted and removed. Supplied with enough shock cord for you to tie off yourself, you can vary the amount of tension on the cord to suit your own application.
We also now stock a blackout material which is ideal for making covers for light sensitive equipment.

Case Study:
We were asked to supply proof of concept samples for a pac sac or “pack Sack” product. The sack was used to carry weight easily on the back with slings made from car seat belt material to ensure a high break strain. Eyelet tooling was made specially to cut through the tough material. Carabiners were added to simplify the fixing of the carry straps to the rolled out pac sac. Durable Tarpaulin is used as alternative to plastic to ensure durability and extended shelf life. The expected lifespan of PVC Tarp is far higher when compared to plastic, it resists UV degradation and due to its structure, it has superior tear or ripping strength over plastic. The Pac sac is available to order in 400gsm or 550-610gsm materials. Other materials currently in design stage have a camo finish.
