A Euro slot allows a bag to be hung on a display stand when filled. Although a Euro slot can be punched into a standard bag, it is not uncommon to include a header in the bag, created with a lateral seal beneath the Euro slot, to prevent bag contents moving toward the hole when the bag has been filed.
Euro slots are most commonly punched into the closed end of the bag, allowing you to fill the bag from the bottom then seal the bag closed whilst upside down. The bag is then turned around and hung from the Euro slot. Sealing methods include using a heat sealing device, a grip seal closure, or a mailer style flap and glue strip.
