VCI bags are used to protect metal components from rust build up when in storage or transit.  The VCI additive is non toxic and food safe.  The additive works by migrating out of the polythene to coat your parts with an invisible barrier which evaporates after use.

Made from multi metal VCI, these VCI bags have an additive which migrates out of the polythene and covers your parts with an invisible coating, to protect and prevent rust build up when in transit.  When you remove your item from the storage bag, the VCI additive evaporates leaving no trace.  Although you would not normally associate anti rust bags with food use, our VCI materials are food safe, so if you pack a part which is destined to be used on a food production line, our bags will provide you with the relevant compliance for food safety as our manufacturing processes are certified under the GFSI recognised BRCGS voluntary standard.
